Core CS with a final-year focus on self-supervised segmentation (SimCLR, MoCo) and generative image restoration. GPA 3.2.
Four years of core computer science: data structures, operating systems, databases, computer networks, and the usual math sequence. The coursework that stuck with me was the algorithms track and a database systems class where we built a small query optimizer from scratch.
For my final year I focused on self-supervised representation learning. The project I spent the most time on used SimCLR and MoCo pretraining for medical image segmentation, comparing the two against a fully supervised baseline on a small labelled set. I also worked on a generative image restoration model for the same imaging modality, where the goal was to recover diagnostic detail from degraded scans.
GPA 3.2. I was also an executive member of the Sukkur IBA Students’ Council, where I helped organize SIBAFest (an annual showcase of student-built software) and ran the Speed Programming Competition across two editions.
