The AI Code Review Bot is a GitHub App that reviews pull requests with an LLM. When a PR is opened or updated, GitHub fires a webhook → Nginx routes it to the Express API → the task is queued in BullMQ over Redis → a background worker fetches the PR diff via Octokit (the GitHub API) → queries Kimi-K2 (an OpenAI-compatible model) for a code review → posts inline review comments on the diff and persists the review metadata to PostgreSQL via Drizzle ORM.

The whole pipeline is containerised with Docker and deployed on Azure VMs with automated CI/CD via GitHub Actions. A React + Vite + Tailwind + Recharts dashboard shows review metrics, severity histograms, and history so a team can see whether review volume is going up or the model is flagging more issues over time.

The point of the architecture is to keep the webhook fast: the API returns 200 to GitHub in milliseconds, and the LLM call is decoupled. The review pipeline is async by design, so a slow LLM day does not block PR authors.
