Career Autopilot is the umbrella project for the work the portfolio’s home page surfaces as “AI Resume Analyzer”: a production AI-powered job portal with resume parsing, ATS scoring, keyword matching, skill-gap detection, and a queued LLM pipeline that scores 500+ unstructured PDF resumes at 92% accuracy.
The backend is NestJS 11 on Bun with PostgreSQL,
Better-Auth for sessions, BullMQ over Redis for the
document-processing queue, and the OpenAI API for the
ATS scoring call. The frontend is React 19 with React
Router v7 and Tailwind CSS v4. The whole stack is
containerised with Docker and ships a docker compose up
one-liner for the full local environment.
The resume analyzer is the most-measured piece: a published run over 500+ resumes hit 92% accuracy against hand-labelled ground truth, and the prompts and evaluation scripts are in the repo so anyone can rerun the number. Skill-gap detection is a follow-up that uses the same parsed-resume output to map candidate weaknesses against a target JD.
