Hono vs Express benchmark

This is a published, reproducible benchmark comparing Hono
and Express.js on Bun. Both implementations build an
identical MVC-structured REST API for video management (full
CRUD with MongoDB / Mongoose). The only thing that differs
is the framework: hono/ and express/.
The published numbers, measured by Autocannon on the reference environment in the repo:
- 30,995 vs 3,776 RPS — 8.2x more requests per second with Hono.
- 0.04 ms vs 2.13 ms latency — 53.25x lower.
- 4.25 MB/s vs 1.55 MB/s throughput — 2.7x more bytes per second.
The point of publishing the benchmark is to let anyone rerun the numbers. The repo ships the two server implementations, the Autocannon scripts, and the JSON output of the original run so the methodology is auditable. The README explains the test environment (Bun version, machine class, MongoDB config) so the results are reproducible.
